I am a full Professor in the branch of AI at Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Electrical Engeneering, University of Technology, Kosice. I am associated head of Center for Intelligent Technologies and Head of Computational Intelligence Group .
Field of study: Computational Intelligence - Theory & Applications.
Research interests:
- Pattern Recognition problems inclusing Classification procedures in the feature space. Neural, fuzzy and hybrid - like classifiers. Artmap, Fuzzy Artmap and related classifiers. The idea of MF-Artmap for classification purposes was developed in our lab and testing and further research is underway. Various application in real-world related to classification problems
- Computational Intelligence tools for prediction systems, multimodular prediction systems, various application in real-world related to prediction problems.
- Cognitive science and biologicaly motivovated systems (artificial evolution, artificial life, artificial neural networks).
Intelligent control related to autonomous systems, multimodular & multiagent approaches based on computational intelligent tools for behevioral control. Lego related reserach, robot soccer and related areas
